Basketball Recap: Brookwood Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Brookwood's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They walked away with a 77-66 victory over the Shelby County Wildcats. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Panthers considering their 25-point performance the matchup before.

Brookwood's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-12. As for Shelby County, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season.

Brookwood and Central will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played. Brookwood is facing Central at the right time seeing as Central is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Shelby County, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Central of Clay County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
