Soccer Recap: Evergreen Park Comes Up Short

Evergreen Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 5-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Island Eisenhower Cardinals. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Evergreen Park of the 3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Evergreen Park now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Blue Island Eisenhower, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2-1 record this season.

Evergreen Park has already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Providence Catholic on the 12th. As for Blue Island Eisenhower, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Plainfield South on the 12th.
