Volleyball Recap: Webber Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Webber entered their tilt with Meridian on Monday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Bobcats by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Trojans also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Webber easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-16.

Their offense was headlined by Edyn Knight and Kadi Bain, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Isabella Caronongan and her eight assists. Knight was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Webber's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Meridian, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Looking ahead, Webber is taking a road trip to face off against Zeigler-Royalton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Meridian, they will challenge Goreville at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
