Baseball Recap: LEE Takes a Loss

LEE lost against Madison back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Volunteers lost 12-2 to the Mavericks. The Volunteers' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it seven in a row.

JD Crowe made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run. The team also got some help courtesy of CT Berlenga, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases.

LEE's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17-1. As for Madison, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-14-1.

While LEE had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
