Basketball Game Preview: Lincoln Lions vs. Barrington Eagles

The Lincoln Lions will head out on the road to take on the Barrington Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Lincoln is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Rhode Island's top teams: Classical, who was ranked third at the time (Lincoln was ranked 11th). Lincoln was beaten by Classical 65-37 on Friday.

Barrington has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They came up short against Classical on Sunday, falling 60-40. The match marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Lincoln will have to keep a close watch on Ryan Rigamonti and Colin McDermott, a pair of players who had a big impact on Barrington's prior game. Rigamonti posted 19 points, while McDermott earned 13 points.

Barrington's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-4. As for Lincoln, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5.
