Basketball Game Preview: Bayshore Bruins vs. Parrish Community Bulls

Bayshore hasn't had much luck against Parrish Community recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Bayshore Bruins just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Parrish Community Bulls at 7:30 p.m.

On Monday, Bayshore didn't have quite enough to beat North Port and fell 66-63. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Bruins have suffered against the Bobcats since January 16, 2020.

Meanwhile, Parrish Community beat IMG Academy Silver 44-31 on Saturday. Given the Bulls' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 246th, while the Ascenders are ranked 618th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bayshore's loss dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Parrish Community, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

Bayshore ended up a good deal behind Parrish Community in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, losing 72-53. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Parrish Community's Tristan Pasch, who went 10 of 16 en route to 26 points in addition to seven boards and four blocks.
