League recap: Bishop Hartley extends winning streak with victory over Coshocton

Bishop Hartley extended the longest winning streak in Central Catholic - Gold this week by beating Coshocton, 41-6. The win marks ninth in a row for the the Hawks.

Bishop Hartley took down the Redskins 41-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. Ja'wuan Woodley ran for 211 yards and caught two passes for 22 yards in the win.

Brad Burchfield's team's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jacob Matuska helped Bishop Hartley's passing attack out by catching one ball for 22 yards.

Jared Brandewie put up the best numbers through the air as the Hawks defeated Coshocton. He had a total of five completions for 61 yards.

Bishop Hartley's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Hawks feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Brandewie has thrown for 752 yards and nine touchdowns this season, while Dominique Scott has 10 catches for 281 yards. Woodley leads the league in rushing with 1305 yards.

There should be lots of points scored when Bishop Ready and Bishop Hartley face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Silver Knights comes in having scored 132 this season, while the Hawks have scored 403.

Bishop Ready made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 1,426 from 1,489.
