Strasburg had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.2 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They strolled past the Luray Bulldogs with points to spare, taking the game 44-28. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 39-20 back in December of 2024.

Strasburg has also been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Luray, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Strasburg won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Rappahannock County at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Luray, they will head out to face off against Madison County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
