Baseball Recap: James Logan Comes Up Short

James Logan fell victim to Washington and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Huskies. The Colts were not able to make up for their defeat to the Huskies from their previous meeting back in April of 2025.

James Logan got a good showing from Emiliano Ramirez, who tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Ramirez has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.

This is the second loss in a row for James Logan and nudges their season record down to 10-9. As for Washington, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

While James Logan had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
