Volleyball Recap: Dylan Pierce and Jayden Chung Secure Win for Las Lomas

Las Lomas hadn't done well against Campolindo recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Knights came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 3-1. This was a revenge game for the Knights: when they faced off against the Cougars on April 11th, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

While Las Lomas might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Campolindo scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 22-25, 25-21, 25-23.

Las Lomas was led to victory by Jayden Chung and Dylan Pierce. Chung had 34 assists, while Pierce had 13 digs and one assist. Those 13 digs gave Pierce a new career-high.

The win was the third in a row for Las Lomas, bringing their record up to 18-8. As for Campolindo, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-17.

Las Lomas has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against College Park on the 1st. Campolindo has also already played their next contest (against Acalanes), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
