Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rockwell Christian School). They walked away with a 49-39 victory over the Victory Christian Cardinals on Friday. This was payback for the Chargers, who suffered a 51-47 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Several Cardinals players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Marissa Sloan, who posted 11 points and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Zoe Vernelson, who earned ten points.

Rockwell Christian School's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Victory Christian, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

Rockwell Christian School didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 35-19 victory against Shining Light Baptist Academy on the 27th. As for Victory Christian, they will be playing at home against Tabernacle Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Victory Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.8 points per game this season.
