Soccer Recap: Foster Takes a Loss

Foster was the 3-2 winner over Vashon Island when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pirates on Friday. While losing is never fun, Foster can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 198th, while Vashon Island are ranked tenth).

Foster's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Vashon Island, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 5-0-2.

Foster has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Cedarcrest on the 14th. As for Vashon Island, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 12-0 win against Annie Wright on the 14th.
