Cousino not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since April 21st (when they won 15-3). They put the hurt on the Fitzgerald Spartans with a sharp 18-8 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Patriots as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Cousino now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Fitzgerald, their loss dropped their record down to 10-12.

Looking ahead, Cousino will square off against Clawson at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Trojans will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Patriots surely won't give up without a fight. As for Fitzgerald, they will take on Merritt Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Spartans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mustangs have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season.
