Hull had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. Everything went their way against the Holbrook Bulldogs as they made off with a 17-2 win. Considering the Pirates have won four games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Hull's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-6. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Holbrook, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-4.

Looking ahead, Hull will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Rockland at 4:00 p.m. As for Holbrook, they will welcome Atlantis at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Atlantis has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.09 runs per game on average), something Holbrook will no doubt try to take advantage of.
