Softball Recap: Ephrata Takes a Loss

Ephrata entered their contest against Boiling Springs on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Mountaineers lost 14-5 to the Bubblers.

Emma Zimmerman was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaliana Auchey, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Ephrata's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Boiling Springs, they now also have a winning record of 6-5.

Looking ahead, Ephrata will square off against Solanco at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Boiling Springs, they will face off against Shippensburg at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
