Xavier College Prep strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Torrey Pines Falcons. This was payback for the Gators, who suffered a 2-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Tessa Larkin paced Xavier College Prep's offense, picking up 13 kills. Larkin got some help from Selah O'Connor and her 17 assists. Larkin was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Xavier College Prep's victory bumped their record up to 20-0. As for Torrey Pines, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 17-4 record.
