Challenger had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Their defense stepped up to hand the Christian Family Academy Fire a 1-0 shutout on Tuesday. Challenger haven't had any issues with Christian Family Academy recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Christian Family Academy's loss ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-5.

Coming up, Challenger will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against University Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Christian Family Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
