Wauneta-Palisade came tearing into Thursday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Sutherland Sailors.

Emma Acton paced Wauneta-Palisade's offense, picking up seven kills. Acton really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with eight. Maggie Dewester controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Wauneta-Palisade's victory bumped their record up to 16-10. As for Sutherland, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-21.

Wauneta-Palisade wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Maxwell on the 16th. As for Sutherland, they have also already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Medicine Valley on the 23rd.
