Basketball Recap: Make It Six in a Row for Milpitas

Milpitas hadn't done well against Mountain View recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Milpitas Trojans walked away with a 56-49 win over the Mountain View Spartans. This was payback for the Trojans, who suffered a 50-47 loss the last time these two teams met.

Despite the loss, Mountain View still got an impressive performance from Jayden Minor, who went 11 for 22 on his way to 28 points and six assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaden Feller, who posted five points in addition to seven boards and five blocks.

The victory was the sixth in a row for Milpitas, bringing their record for this year to 12-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.5 points per game. As for Mountain View, they now have a losing record at 6-7.

Milpitas will take on Gunn at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mountain View, they will square off against Los Altos at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Mountain View is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.
