While Kamiak's victory against Archbishop Murphy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Knights skirted past the Wildcats 5-3. The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won six in a row.

Kamiak saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mila McIntosh, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs.

Kamiak's record is now 14-3. As for Archbishop Murphy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kamiak will face off against Jackson at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Timberwolves have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed seven runs per game on average), something the Knights will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Archbishop Murphy, they will challenge Mountlake Terrace at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hawks have averaged an impressive 7.8 runs per game this season.
