Softball Recap: Hampton Christian Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Norfolk Christian last Thursday, Hampton Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Warriors came up short against the Greenbrier Christian Academy Gators on Tuesday, falling 10-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Gators: they've now lost six in a row.

Hampton Christian Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reese Krantz, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Hampton Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Greenbrier Christian Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.

Hampton Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 6-1 defeat against Peninsula Catholic on the 28th. As for Greenbrier Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-0 victory against Broadwater Academy on the 27th.
