There's no place like home for St. Mary's Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They put the hurt on the Flint River Academy Wildcats with a sharp 47-25 win on Saturday. The Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 22 points or more this season.

Loss or not, Flint River Academy got some senior leadership from D. J. Baums and Jamir Muhammad. Baums posted six points and 13 rebounds, while Muhammad had 13 points and eight rebounds. Muhammad is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: he's pulled down at least eight every time he's taken the court this season.

St. Mary's Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Flint River Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Mary's Academy will face off against Heritage at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Flint River Academy, they are taking a road trip to take on Strong Rock Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
