Basketball Game Preview: DeSoto Eagles vs. Duncanville Panthers and Pantherettes + How To Watch

The DeSoto Eagles will take on the Duncanville Panthers and Pantherettes in a holiday battle at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in DeSoto's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests.

On Tuesday, DeSoto was able to grind out a solid victory over Waxahachie, taking the game 65-57.

Dany Diaz produced another solid performance putting up 34 points and six steals. That's the most steals she has posted since back in November. Another player making a difference was Chloe Stigler, who earned 12 points.

Meanwhile, Duncanville slipped by Skyline 33-32 on Tuesday. Those 33 points were actually the fewest the Panthers and Pantherettes have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

DeSoto has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for Duncanville, their win bumped their record up to 10-5.

DeSoto came up short against Duncanville in their previous meeting back in January, falling 57-47. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
