Baseball Game Preview: Eufaula Ironheads vs. Idabel Warriors

For the second straight game, Eufaula will face off against Idabel. The Ironheads will take on the Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Eufaula took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They came out on top against Idabel by a score of 9-4.

Kase Bell made a splash while hitting and pitching. He tossed 5.2 innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one double, and one RBI. Eufaula is undefeated when Bell posts two or more runs, but 2-15 otherwise.

In other batting news, Jax Williams and Fischer McAllister did most of the damage at the plate: Williams went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base, while McAllister went a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those five RBI gave McAllister a new career-high.

Eufaula's record is now 5-15. As for Idabel, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-23.
