Football Recap: McKinley Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for McKinley's offense. The contest between the Panthers and the Belaire Bengals didn't end well, with the Panthers falling 14-0. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 14-8 to the Bengals when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for McKinley and nudges their season record down to 2-5. As for Belaire, their victory ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. McKinley will take on rival Brusly at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Belaire is set to square off against their familiar foe Broadmoor at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
