Basketball Recap: Piedmont Skates Past Northwest Classen with Ease

Piedmont won the last time they faced Northwest Classen and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Piedmont Wildcats claimed a resounding 62-11 win over the Northwest Classen Knights. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 91st, while the Knights are ranked 362nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Piedmont has also been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. As for Northwest Classen, they dropped their record down to 2-14 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road.

Piedmont has already played their next game (against Norman), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Northwest Classen didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 75-7 loss against Broken Arrow on the 31st.
