Preview: West Limestone vs. Danville
The West Limestone Wildcats will head out on the road to square off against the Danville Hawks at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
West Limestone kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of Elkmont by a score of 3-2. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but West Limestone couldn't quite close it out.
Jylene Ruiz and
Addison Callahan did their best for West Limestone and scored both of West Limestone's goals.
Meanwhile, Danville made easy work of Haleyville on Friday and carried off a 7-1 win. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 4-0.
West Limestone fell to Danville 3-1 in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Can West Limestone avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
