Baseball Recap: Irmo Takes a Loss

Irmo lost against Chapin last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Yellow Jackets came up short against the Eagles, falling 14-4. That's two games in a row now that the Yellow Jackets have lost by exactly ten runs.

Elliott Graham made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double. Ty Rivers also deserves some recognition as he got his first hits of the season.

Irmo's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Chapin, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-5.

Coming up, Irmo will be playing at home against Spring Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Chapin, they will head out to face off against Brookland-Cayce at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles are facing the Bearcats at the right time seeing as the Bearcats are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
