Volleyball Recap: East Mountain Has No Trouble Against Clayton

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Laguna Acoma, East Mountain was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Clayton Yellowjackets.

Evelyn Salberg paced East Mountain's offense, picking up 12 kills. Salberg got some help from Olivia Gonzales and her 19 assists. Salberg was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

East Mountain has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-6 record this season. As for Clayton, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-4.

East Mountain didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Questa on the 20th. As for Clayton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Pecos on the 20th.
