Football Recap: St. Clair Bulldogs vs. St. James Tigers
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Clair). They blew past the St. James Tigers 42-14 on the road on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2023.
The victory (which was St. Clair's fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-2. As for St. James, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Clair will host Hermann at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hermann's defense has only allowed 9.8 points per game this season, so St. Clair's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for St. James, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Sullivan at 7:00 p.m.
