Soccer Recap: Oak Ridge Takes a Loss

If Oak Ridge was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Del Oro back in December of 2024, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Oak Ridge Trojans took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rocklin Thunder on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Cassiano Konig and Nathan Ceasri scored both of Oak Ridge's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Oak Ridge's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 1-1-2 and their overall record down to 2-2-3. As for Rocklin, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2-1 and their overall record up to 5-2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oak Ridge will take on Davis Sr. at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rocklin, they will square off against Granite Bay at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
