 After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Lincoln East, Norfolk was happy to have turned things around  on Tuesday. They never let the Fremont Tigers onto the board and left with  a   1-0  win. Given Norfolk's advantage  in MaxPreps' Nebraska soccer rankings  (they are ranked tenth, while Fremont is ranked 41st), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Norfolk's one-goal win came courtesy of 
 Brayden Long, who's now up to four this season.
 Norfolk's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Fremont, their loss was  their fourth straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 4-7.
 Norfolk will be staying on the road  on Thursday to face off against Columbus at 5:00  p.m. As for Fremont, they will  square off against Grand Island at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday.
