Softball Recap: Stone Memorial Gets the Win

Stone Memorial never let their opponents score on Monday. They walked away with a 4-0 win over the Livingston Academy Wildcats. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Wildcats last Monday, they had to take a 5-4 defeat.

Not much got past Kenzie Jackson, who gave up just two hits and racked up ten Ks to keep Livingston Academy off the board. Jackson has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Cadence Cox, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one double and one RBI.

Stone Memorial's victory bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Livingston Academy, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 10-7 record.

As of now, neither Stone Memorial nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
