Baseball Recap: Steeleville Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Steeleville won the last time they faced Dupo and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Warriors came out on top in a nail-biter against the Tigers, sneaking past 4-2. The win was nothing new for the Warriors as they're now sitting on four straight.

Braden Middendorf spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on four hits.

At the plate, Tyler Ingles was excellent, scoring a run while going 3-for-3. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Canon Ruby was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Steeleville's record is now 7-3. As for Dupo, they dropped their record down to 2-8 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Steeleville will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Tigers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
