Football Recap: Jack Clark's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Sky View over Morgan

Sky View lost against Morgan back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bobcats fell 35-27 to the Trojans. While the Bobcats had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Trojans 17-0.

Several Bobcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jack Clark, who threw for 385 yards and a pair of TDs, and also punched in one touchdown on the ground. Lincoln Ballard was Clark's top target, picking up 90 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Even if they lost, Sky View's defensive line still kept up the pressure with four sacks. Morgan's QB won't forget Sitili Palmer anytime soon given he sacked him twice.

Cade Randall went supernova For Morgan., throwing for 263 yards and four TDs. Their leading receiver Eli Mortensen was Randall's top target yet again, picking up 83 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Sky View's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Morgan, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sky View will square off against Spanish Fork at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Morgan, they will challenge Park City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
