Football Recap: Lawrence Academy Skates Past Roxbury Latin with Ease

Lawrence Academy got themselves on the board against Roxbury Latin on Saturday, but Roxbury Latin never followed suit. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 27-0 win over the Foxes. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Spartans' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts football rankings (they are ranked 74th, while the Foxes are ranked 211th).

Lawrence Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Roxbury Latin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Lawrence Academy will head out to face off against Middlesex at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Roxbury Latin, they will venture away from home to take on New Hampton School at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
