Basketball Recap: Lumen Christi Takes a Loss

On Saturday, 2025 welcomed the Lumen Christi Archangels with a 69-49 loss courtesy of the Seward Seahawks. The Archangels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lumen Christi now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Seward, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lumen Christi will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Ninilchik at 7:00 p.m. on January 20th. As for Seward, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Nikiski at 7:30 p.m.
