Basketball Recap: High Point Comes Up Short

High Point was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the Reservoir 'Gators 81-9. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 251st, while the 'Gators are ranked 32nd).

High Point's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Reservoir, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season.

As of now, neither High Point nor Reservoir have any future games scheduled.
