McIntosh extended their winning streak to seven on Thursday, bumping them up to 34-8. They blew past the Whitewater Wildcats 3-0. The Chiefs not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 16th (when they won 3-0).

Leading McIntosh to victory were Nana Horiuchi and Baylee Tanton. Horiuchi had six aces and three digs, while Tanton had six digs and six assists. Those six aces gave Horiuchi a new career-high.

They weren't the only good servers: McIntosh was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Whitewater only served nine.

As for Whitewater, their defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 20-6-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered since October 1, 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Whitewater lost, don't look at Evie Higman. Despite the final result, she had nine digs and four aces.

Looking ahead, McIntosh will venture away from home to square off against Woodward Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Whitewater, they will welcome Union Grove at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
