Sophomore guard led Bullis to 25 wins, state semifinals.

Each year since 2006, MaxPreps has recognized outstanding performers in high school girls basketball. The tradition continues to close out the 2024-25 season by naming the top player in each state. Selections are based on team success and individual excellence in addition to local and state accolades.

Ivanna Wilson-Manyacka of Bullis (Potomac) is the 2024-25 Maryland MaxPreps Player of the Year. The 6-foot-2 sophomore guard led the Bulldogs to a 25-8 record and the private school state semifinals.

For the season, Wilson-Manyacka averaged 18.5 points, 11.2 rebounds and 2.3 steals per game.
