Basketball Game Preview: Colonel Crawford Eagles vs. Wynford Royals

The Colonel Crawford Eagles will challenge the Wynford Royals at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Colonel Crawford comes in on ten and Wynford on three.

Last Saturday, Colonel Crawford got the win against Seneca East by a conclusive 54-32. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Wynford made easy work of Crestview on Monday and carried off a 56-33 victory. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Royals just coasted through the last quarter.

Wynford's win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.5 points per game. As for Colonel Crawford, their victory bumped their record up to 10-0.

Colonel Crawford beat Wynford 39-27 in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Will Colonel Crawford repeat their success, or does Wynford have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
