Baseball Recap: Westgate Comes Up Short

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Westgate and Comeaux had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Tigers fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 7-6 on Wednesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 10-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2021.

Westgate's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Comeaux, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-15.

We've got a battle between Tigers coming up. As for Comeaux, they will challenge Westminster Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on the 10th.
