Volleyball Recap: Rock Bridge Takes a Loss

Rock Bridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Oak Park Northmen. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Northmen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on Friday.

While Rock Bridge was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Oak Park's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-14, 25-15.

Rock Bridge's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Oak Park, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-4.

Rock Bridge has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Howell North on the 12th. As for Oak Park, they will welcome North Kansas City at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
