Webster waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins...and they left with four. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against Northwestern.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Webster got the one that really mattered. The final set scores came out to 25-16, 18-25, 15-7.

Webster's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Dana Jackson led the charge by getting 17 assists and seven digs. Avery Hetfeld was another key player, getting nine kills, four digs, and three aces.

Webster has now won 10 of their last 12 games on the road. That gives them an 11-1 record this season. As for Northwestern, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-4.

Webster wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Barron on the 10th. As for Northwestern, they will square off against Rice Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
