Lyman hadn't done well against New Underwood recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Raiders were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tigers. While the Raiders didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Lyman has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for New Underwood, their loss was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5.

Looking ahead, Lyman is taking a road trip to face off against Winner at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for New Underwood, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Oelrichs at 5:30 p.m. on the 23rd.
