Basketball Preview: Parkway North Vikings vs. McCluer North Stars
The Parkway North Vikings's road trip will continue as they head out to face the McCluer North Stars at 7:00 p.m. on February 6th. Parkway North will be strutting in after a victory while the Stars will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Friday, Parkway North's game was all tied up 15-15 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They secured a 43-38 W over Parkway South. Given Parkway North's advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 150th, while the Patriots are ranked 314th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, McCluer North was beaten by the Bulldogs 71-44 on Saturday.
Parkway North's victory bumped their record up to 9-10. As for McCluer North, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.
Parkway North ended up a good deal behind the Stars in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, losing 63-47. Can Parkway North avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
