Volleyball Recap: Kamehameha Kapalama Comes Up Short in High-Profile Matchup with Corona Del Mar

Kamehameha Kapalama is ranked highly in their home state and on Friday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Corona del Mar. The Warriors lost 3-0 to the Sea Kings. If the Warriors were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Sea Kings when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Kamehameha Kapalama now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Corona del Mar, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

Kamehameha Kapalama wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Moanalua on the 18th. Hopefully Corona del Mar paid attention to the Warriors' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
