Baseball Recap: Bark River-Harris Takes a Loss

After flying high against Superior Central on Tuesday, Bark River-Harris came back down to earth. The Broncos came up short against the Escanaba Eskymos on Friday, falling 10-2. The loss continues a trend for the Broncos in their meetings with the Eskymos: they've now lost three in a row.

Bark River-Harris saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Mileski, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double. That double was Mileski's first of the season.

Bark River-Harris' defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Escanaba, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Bark River-Harris does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Escanaba, they are taking a road trip to take on Houghton at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eskymos are facing the Gremlins at the right time seeing as the Gremlins are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
