Volleyball Game Preview: Waverly/South Shore Coyotes vs. Leola/Frederick Titans

The Waverly/South Shore Coyotes will head out on the road to square off against the Leola/Frederick Titans at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Waverly/South Shore will be strutting in after a victory while Leola/Frederick will be coming in after a defeat.

Waverly/South Shore took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Sisseton.

Waverly/South Shore had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 25-13, 27-25, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Leola/Frederick lost 3-0 to Ipswich on Monday. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-6, 25-10.

Waverly/South Shore's victory bumped their record up to 7-17. As for Leola/Frederick, their loss dropped their record down to 2-15.

Waverly/South Shore beat Leola/Frederick 3-1 when the teams last played back in November of 2024. Do the Coyotes have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Titans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
