Basketball Recap: Make It Seven in a Row for Leonard

Leonard waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 42-39 victory over the Bells Panthers. The 42-point effort marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Leonard is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.9 points per game. As for Bells, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-7.

Leonard will head out to take on Blue Ridge at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Leonard is facing Blue Ridge at the right time seeing as Blue Ridge is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Bells, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Bells Panthers duke it out with the Pottsboro Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
